RETURN POLICY

  1. No returns on any items marked SALE or CLEARANCE. 
  2. Backdrop City accepts returns of unused, like new items for any reason within 7 days of receipt by the customer.

     

  3. Backdrop City does not exchange any item for a different item.

     

  4. Defective items will be either refunded or exchanged for a non-defective identical item.

     

  5. Because of the nature of digital imaging, Backdrop City cannot offer refunds subsequent to the successful purchase transaction of any digital images.

     

  6. Backdrop City is not responsible for and will not accept any returned merchandise that is not returned in accordance with the following terms:
  • We offer a 7-day return/refund policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may send new/unused items back (at buyer's expense) for a refund.
  • Photographic Backgrounds: Photographic backgrounds are produced using layering techniques different than the techniques used for the production of murals.  Because of this difference, they will sometimes look different to the naked eye than they do to the camera.  It is for this reason that we guarantee, that when photographed, the backgrounds will look the same as they do on our website.   Please Note - A background that does not look the same to the naked eye is not defective, nor an acceptable reason for return. 
  • Prior to returning any item(s), buyer must contact Backdrop City via email for authorization.
  • All returned item(s) must include buyers name, contact information, date of purchase and a statement of the reason for the return.
  • Buyer must pay all return shipping charges.
  • Merchandise should be packed in original packaging and insured with the carrier for the full amount of purchase.
  • Returned item(s) with signs of abuse or intentional damage will be returned to sender at sender's cost.
  • Returned item must be in the same condition as received by the customer.
  • Acceptable returned items will be refunded minus a 15% restocking/service fee.
  • Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.
  • If item(s) received was damaged or defective, please notify Backdrop City within (5) days of receipt of damaged item(s).
  • All custom items are non-returnable and non-refundable, as they are customized just for you.
  • Buyer must return defective item(s) before replacement item(s) can be shipped out.  Defective item(s) can only be replaced with the identical item(s), or a refund issued.
  • Refunds, credits or replacements will be issued by Backdrop City after receipt and inspection of returned item(s).
  • Any material received that is not made by Backdrop City, has been tampered with, or has been damaged in any way as to constitute physical abuse, will be returned to the purchaser freight collect and no credit will be issued.
  • Refunds will not be issued by Backdrop City if merchandise is lost after delivery when free shipping service is selected by the customer.  This method of delivery does not include a signature requirement, and sometimes packages are left at the door.  In this circumstance, Backdrop City will file a claim with the shipping company on the customer's behalf.  Only upon approval of the claim from the shipping company will the customer's refund be issued.
